Equitable Document Review

Verify that your current vendor documents are equitable for all contractors and include verbiage regarding the use of DBE/MBE/WBE contractors on your projects.

Financial Commitment

Your commitment is used to cover the hard costs associated with the Strong Foundations Program, including paying vendors and instructors for their time, the use of digital tools to provide resources to contractors, and the ability to offer additional benefits to enrollees.

As a participating Ally in the Construction Allies in Action initiative, I promise to utilize contractors listed on the Michigan Contractor Directory list and work with an internal facilities team or external contractors to carve out scopes of work or negotiated bids, where appropriate.*

As a participating Ally in the Construction Allies in Action initiative, I will provide the total cost ($2,500) required to help an underrepresented construction company complete the Strong Foundations Program / Foundations+. I understand that this is an annual program and I will be charged for the amount ($2,500) each year and must submit written cancellation notice if I choose to discontinue my participation.*
