About the Organization

Construction Allies in Action, founded in 2020, aims to empower contractors to grow their construction businesses into sustainable minority-owned or women-owned construction companies in Michigan.

Our Story: Empowering Minority-Owned and Women-Owned Construction Businesses

Construction Allies in Action was founded in 2020 with the goal of building up minority-owned and women-owned construction businesses in Michigan. Recognizing that fair access to commercial construction bids was a major challenge, Construction Allies in Action formed a Steering Committee of local contractors to direct the organization in creating programming to empower contractors with business knowledge.
